Vietnam aims to raise pangasius quality

In the fourth quarter of this year a high-tech pangasius fish farm covering 600 hectares will be developed in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, he said. When operational, it is expected to supply around 200,000 metric tons of high-quality raw material each year for processing and export. Hoe said higher quality pangasius product is crucial for Vietnam to sell more through e-commerce platforms like Alibaba in China and Amazon in the US. "Through the e-commerce website Alibaba, Vietnam's pangasius fish products will have greater chances to enter this giant market,” he said.
